Michael Bowes is a sophomore on the Twin’s baseball team.  He graduated from Hudson High School and is currently an individual studies major at Columbia-Greene Community College.  Michael is an infielder, playing third base and shortstop most of the time.  He has also pitched six total innings so far this season.  During the team’s trip to Myrtle Beach, Michael played in every game and proved to be a strong player for the Twins.  He accumulated 20 at bats during the seven games and got five hits.  This gives him a .250 batting average during the trip.  His best game came against Genesee Community College where he had three hits and scored one run.  Michael was also on the other side of the plate as a pitcher in two games.  In the Twins first game this season, he came in and pitched a scoreless seventh inning to receive the save in the 2 – 0 Twin’s victory.  Michael was the starting pitcher for the last game of the trip against Camden Community College.  He struggled, pitching five innings, allowing 8 runs and walking six batters.  Michael also struck out three.
